INTERVIEW WITH UNKNOWN BLOGGER--WHO GAVE THIS PERSON A WEBPAGE?

Archer's finally reformatted their Carrd so all their personal information is easily accessible to internet strangers and stylish, all in one go. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "I hope this doesn't come back to bite me," says the barely self-aware blogger. "Also, this Carrd website was a pain in the ass to reformat. Criminal that I can't change the border sizes on table graphs." Full story on page 3

WHO IS ARCHER?

An alleged sighting of a 'Gox,' taken by Archer

"I'm a nonbinary, disabled young adult, an aspiring writer and librarian. I've taken to occasionally expressing my thoughts on the internet, and I figured a get-to-know-me page would be best for sharing my interests.
"My hobbies include collecting enamel pins and postcards, roller and ice skating, hockey, hanging out with my dog and guinea pigs, watching video essays on astronomy or media critiques, and arranging scores or listening to music, and most importantly, writing and/or generally consuming media."

Attack of the Hyperfixations!

------
As someone with ADHD, I've often found myself quickly attached to media in which I can relate to a character, or deeply analyze them and the world they inhabit. Take this as something akin to a summer reading list, or maybe more accurately, a year-long watch list, of media I regularly discuss and will force anyone in the nearby vicinity to hear about as well.
DUE SOUTHㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
A Canadian buddy-cop dramedy that beautifully blends subtextual character motivations and societal critiques into a 45-minute comedy episode. Did I mention it's queercoded?

Callum Keith Rennie and Paul Gross as Det. Stanley Ray Kowalski and Con. Benton Fraser, Respectively.
DAREDEVILㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Maybe it's the disabled and mentally ill teenager in me, but Daredevil is such a fascinating series. More times than not, maybe I am yelling at Matt through the TV screen or comic page that he's being an idiot, but his balancing of justice with personal angst has always kept me hooked. I personally recommend the original Netflix series, as well as the Bendis, Brubaker, Waid, and Soule runs of the comic book series (otherwise known as volumes 2 through 5). If you do nothing else, at least do yourself the service of looking at David Mack's art and writing for the series.

This is what Star Wars is supposed to be: queer space monks with laser swords fighting eldritch horror pirates across the frontier, with immense angst. There are over a dozen books and comics if you want to delve deeper, but the series has a hierarchy system, allowing you to read as little or as much as you want. Plus, being books, the series avoids many of the toxic fans that the movies have accumulated. You don't even need to watch the movies for these.

Do you have any other random and oddly specific favorite things?Probably! My favorite flower is desert globemallow. My favorite shape is whatever Mexican Tin Stars count as. I also really like tea but I don’t think I have a favorite… I just drink a lot of cherry and prickly pear flavors because I’m not adventurous. My favorite treat is chocolate covered cherry/strawberry/pineapple gummy bears. None of that was necessary to know but I’m sharing anyway.
